Miami offers plenty of options to suit your style, whether you're looking for a luxurious beachfront resort, a budget-friendly stay, or something in between.
1. The Fontainebleau Miami Beach
For a taste of luxury, the Fontainebleau is a classic choice. This iconic hotel boasts beautiful oceanfront views, an expansive pool area, and several onsite restaurants. It's a little slice of paradise right in the heart of Miami Beach.
2. The Freehand Miami
Want something chic but affordable? The Freehand is a boutique hotel and hostel located just a short walk from the beach. It has a fun, relaxed vibe, complete with a cocktail bar and a backyard pool area that’s perfect for lounging.

You’ll definitely work up an appetite exploring Miami (and posing for the camera!), so check out some of these awesome dining spots to keep your energy up and taste buds happy.
1. Versailles Restaurant – Cuban Cuisine
It’s not a trip to Miami without experiencing authentic Cuban food, and Versailles is the go-to spot for that. Their classic Cuban sandwich and sweet, strong cafecito will give you a true taste of the city.
2. Joe’s Stone Crab – Seafood Delight
If you’re in the mood for seafood, Joe’s Stone Crab is a legendary spot in South Beach. Their stone crab claws are a must-try, and don’t forget to finish off with a slice of their famous key lime pie.
3. Coyo Taco – Mexican Street Food
For a more laid-back, quick bite, head to Coyo Taco. The tacos are bursting with flavor, and you can’t go wrong with their guacamole and chips. Bonus: There’s a hidden bar in the back if you’re in the mood for a drink.
Besides getting amazing photos taken, Miami has so much to offer in terms of fun and adventure. Here are a few activities that are worth adding to your itinerary.
1. Hit the Beach
Of course, you have to spend some time soaking up the sun! South Beach is iconic for a reason, (not just because I am born and raised there. LOL) with its lively atmosphere and crystal-clear waters. If you prefer something quieter, check out Surfside or Key Biscayne.
2. Explore the Art Deco District
Miami’s Art Deco District in South Beach is a step back in time, with beautifully preserved 1930s architecture. Wander around to snap some pictures, grab a coffee, or just soak in the colorful vibes. It's a perfect spot to explore before or after your portrait session.
3. Visit Wynwood Walls
If you’re into art and street culture, you’ll love the Wynwood Walls. This outdoor museum features large-scale murals by some of the world’s best street artists. It’s vibrant, inspiring, and makes for a fantastic backdrop if you’re looking for some extra candid shots.
4. Take a Boat Tour of Biscayne Bay
For a different view of Miami, hop on a boat tour. Biscayne Bay offers stunning views of the city skyline and you might even spot a celebrity mansion or two. It’s a great way to unwind and enjoy the sunset.
While you’re exploring and having fun, don’t forget a few tips to make sure your portrait session goes smoothly:
